Paprika Prawns

Simple, Satisfying and Succulent!

Catherine's Paprika Prawns 


  • 12 large raw prawns
  • 1/2 tablespoon of Smoked Paprika 
  • 2 large garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil 
  • Juice and zest of 1 lime 


Step 1

Peel your prawns, leaving the tails intact. Run a knife down the back of each prawn making an incision to remove the black vein. Wash the prawns and then pat dry with kitchen paper.

Step 2 

Mix together the Smoked Paprika, garlic, 1 tablespoon of olive oil and lime zest in a bowl. Add the prawns and leave to marinate for approx 15 minutes at room temperature. 

Step 3 

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan and add your prawns. Fry for 3-4 minutes turning halfway through until cooked. Squeeze over some lime juice and serve.
